He is an attorney and partner in the law firm Neuberger, Wakeman, Lorenz, Griggs, Sweet. He resides in the Lake Mills area with his wife Carolyn, and have practiced there since 1974. He began his practice with attorney John Neupert. The law firm of Neupert & Wakeman, S.C. and its predecessors have been serving Lake Mills, Wisconsin and surrounding areas for nearly 80 years.

He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1972 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School and was admitted to practice in 1974. His practice areas of emphasis include real estate transaction and development, estate planning(revocable trusts, wills, and guardianship), elder law, probate, business formation (LLC’s,/Corporations/Partnerships), and title insurance.

He holds many legal affiliations and memberships such as Wisconsin State Bar Association, Jefferson County Bar Association ( Past President), Member Wisconsin Elder Law Section of State Bar, American Bar Association, and Attorney Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. Shareholder.

He is involved and supports the community through his membership and service with the following organizations: UCC First Congregational Church, Past President of the Lake Mills Jaycees, Past President of the Lake Mills Rotary Club, Ducks Unlimited Member, Fort Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, Lake Mills Area Community Foundation board of Directors, and Member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
