ANDREW R. GRIGGS
He is a practicing attorney and resident of Watertown, Wisconsin. He has been a partner in the law firm of Neuberger, Wakeman, Lorenz, Griggs, Sweet & Fischer since 1993 and has been practicing law with the firm since 1989. He is married and has two children. He is a Connecticut native and is licensed to practice law in all courts in Wisconsin and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and the Jefferson County Bar Association.
He is an experienced trial attorney and also engages in the following practice areas on a regular basis: Bankruptcy, Business, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, Estate Planning, Family Law (including divorce, paternity, custody, child support and adoption), Municipal Law, Personal Injury, Probate and Trust Administration, Real Estate and Traffic.
His Municipal clients include the Town of Watertown, Town of Farmington, Town of Jefferson, Village of Lowell, Town of Clyman, Town of Aztalan, Ixonia Sanitary Sewer District, Jefferson Sanitary Sewer District, and the Jefferson County Farm Drainage Board.
He has served on various community boards including the Watertown Chamber of Commerce, past president, and the Watertown Kiwanis Club. He actively participates in and promotes community sports activities including coaching youth soccer, football, basketball, and tennis.
He holds a degree in psychology from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and a Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has also studied abroad at the University of Nottingham in Nottingham, England.
