She is a practicing attorney and former resident of Watertown, now residing in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. She has been a member and partner in the law firm of Neuberger, Wakeman, Lorenz, Griggs, & Sweet since 1982. She is married and has raised 5 children and two stepchildren. She has 8 grandchildren.

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. She is licensed to practice law in all courts in Wisconsin. She is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, Dodge County Bar Association, and the Jefferson County Bar Association.

Lorenz is an experienced trial attorney and trained Family Law mediator. She is also a Jefferson County Court Commissioner. Her practice emphasis is Family Law, Estate Planning, Real Estate and Small Business representation.

Lorenz has served on many committees and community Boards including the Watertown School Board, Girls Scouts of Blackhawk Council, and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Civil Service Committee. She has lectured at local schools, Madison Area Technical School, and Waukesha Area Technical College. She is a Master Gardener Volunteer with the University of Wisconsin Extension Program.

Her practice offers legal representation in all areas of Family Law as well as mediation and assistance with uncontested family matters. She is also trained to provide Collaborative Family Law representation. Reconcilation of the marriage is always explored. Whenever possible, a negotiated settlement is sought. Aggressive and straightforward strategies are used when litigation is necessary.
